Neila Lagoons

Monastery of San Pedro de Arlanza

Ruins of the Benedictine monastery founded in the year 912. There are remains of the Romanesque Church, cloisters and some monastic rooms. Abandoned after the Confiscation of the 19th century

Rio Lobos Canyon

Natural Park of more than 20 km in length where we can admire the perfect karstic formations, home to hundreds of pairs of griffon vultures, Egyptian vultures and golden eagles. At its epicenter is the Templar hermitage from the 12th century, equidistant from Creus and Finisterre.

Lerma

The urban layout makes up one of the most important monumental and urban complexes of the 18th century. We can visit the Ducal Palace, the Excollegiate Church of San Pedro, the Monastery of San Blas and a long list of monasteries and convents.

Dinosaur Museum

The Museum houses, according to Spanish, English, French, German, North American researchers, etc. the best collection of direct fossil remains of dinosaurs and contemporary flora and fauna of Castilla y León and one of the richest and most varied in Spain. 4km away, in Salas de los Infantes.

Burgos cathedral

It is the most representative monument of the city. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.

Atapuerca

15 km from the capital is the Sierra de Atapuerca, where Homo Antecesor inhabited almost a million years ago

Clunia

Colonia Clunia Sulpicia was a Roman city, it was one of the most important cities in the northern half of Hispania and was the capital of a legal convent of the province Hispania Citerior Tarraconensis.

Covarrubias

Town with a medieval structure, with traditional houses with beautiful facades. We can visit its Gothic Collegiate Church, the Santo Tomé church, the Fernán González Tower, the Doña Sancha House, among other architectural gems.

Sad Hill
